L&T Hydrocarbon signs pact with Parsons

Larsen & Tourbo Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE ) on Tuesday announced it has signed a pact with Parsons to provide engineering and design solutions in America.
"L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, a leading engineering and construction company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of L&T, announced a teaming agreement with Parsons to provide engineering and design solutions for onshore and offshore projects across the hydrocarbon, fertiliser, chemicals, and modular plant sectors," L&T said in a statement.
Commenting on the announcement of the pact, Subramanian Sarma, CEO MD of LTHE said, "LTHE's broad range of offerings across the hydrocarbon spectrum coupled with Parsons' strong programme management capabilities in the Americas will provide a compelling value proposition to the customers.”
Parsons Group President Mike Walsh said, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering's Mumbai-based engineering center and its hydrocarbon expertise, in combination with Parsons' project management and risk management skills, oil and gas experience in the Americas as well as its well-established customer service base, will ensure comprehensive solutions for customers.
The two engineering majors will collaborate to give customers conceptual engineering, cost estimating and engineering, feasibility studies, procurement and construction management, and specialty and high-end engineering services in America.
